About

Photography is a lifelong passion – freezing that fleeting moment

I don’t categorise myself into a specific genre. I tend to explore new subjects that I find interesting. That interest is currently documentary and fine-art-style street photography.

I love the analogue days of photography and I still use both digital and film cameras. I edit many of my digital photographs to have something of an analogue/film “look” in terms of colours, tones and grain. As I heard Lindbergh once say – “black and white gets under your skin” – and I’m slowly returning to it – having started with it in the early 80s. I also develop and print my own analogue work, lately using alternative printing techniques.

I’m active most days on Instagram, Threads and Bluesky. Much of my art doesn’t display well on small screens and I don’t photograph specifically for social media. I print my work in various formats for display/sale.
